Tattoo Graphics

Does anyone have pictures of tattoos that are black and white, outline of "something", but the outline isn’t a line it’s a quote?

Make sense? I would like to see pictures because I have a brilliant idea for a tattoo, but want to see what it looks like!

basically, what Im asking, is tattoo designs that are not outlined with lines like a normal tattoo. Instead it would be writing rather than lines…

I asked this question already but only got one answer… Kind of a dumb question but I’ve always loved tattoos but my mom absolutely hates them. I was living with her until I was 23 so out of respect, I never got one. I am now 26, living with my boyfriend who has many tats and I really want to get some. I’m not getting them for the sake of having one either. I’ve wanted them since before I was 18 so it’s not just a passing fancy. I love the ocean so all my tats would be ocean-inspired (sharks, mermaids, seahorses, starfishes…). I actually want half sleeves along with a few others in different places on my body. I’m studying to be a marine biologist so it won’t interfere with my job as I’ll either be in a lab or out on a boat. I’d cover them if needed. I also don’t know if they’d really go with how I look. Here are a couple links of pics of my bf and I. He’s got full sleeves and he’s learning to be a tattoo artist too so it only makes me want them more. What do you think?

Just so you know, my bf wouldn’t be the one giving me the tats. He’s too inexperienced and he doesn’t want to do them on me anyways because he’s worried he’d mess up.
I am also going to take the process slow, not just go out and get a huge tattoo or get a bunch all at once. I’m just thinking about getting to the point where I have sleeves.

Tatoos are forever, every 5 years (it’s a proven fact) your phsycological attitude changes, you may not be the same person in 5 years that you are right now. I think you are a gorgeous girl, don’t put ink on you. Just my opinion. I know people with tatoos that say corny stuff like: Duran Duran, Jake Isles Band etc…etc… Life is going to change, unless it’s of your children or a lost loved one it wont stay the same throughout your life. You asked…Like I said just being honest. You are a hottie though !!

If you can afford about $50-$100 more, go see the tatoo artist and ask them to draw one for you.I think like 99% of the artists will do this for a fee.
This way you can tell them exactly what you want and they can create it for you.
It is worth the money because then you have a compleatly original peice on your body and not some trendy pic that someone is gonna say "hey, didn’t I see that pic on the internet?"

Does anyone have pics or stories of bad white ink tats? I want one and the artist told me tonight that he’s seen them fade miserably.. But I haven’t seen pics that show that. Does anyone have any pics to share or stories about bad white ink tattoos?!

I have a story…

First off, your artist is right. And the only reason he probably is telling you not to do it is because a lot of artists don’t want to give tattoos they know will not heal well. Because in a year or two when someone says "Where did you get that tattoo?" and you say "From ____ at ____ shop" the artist fears he’ll get a bad reputation.

Also, there’s no telling how the white ink will do in someone’s skin. White ink not only has a tendency to fade, but it can also turn brown over the years when exposed to the sun. This doesn’t happen to everyone, but I’ve seen quite a few that it happens to and then it just looks silly. I had a large tattoo on my right bicep highlighted with white ink about 5 or 6 years ago and most of the white ink has faded, some has stayed, and in some spots it turned brown. So it’s now a black, white, and brown tattoo and looks pretty weird. Oh well!

You may want to talk to your artist about doing a negative space tattoo. He can lightly shade the negative space of the tattoo you want with a gray wash instead of outlining in black. This can create the same illusion, with no chance of the ink falling out or discoloration.

You can just type up on google and look at the images that come up, then go back into web and pick a site
