It’s difficult to explain but does anyone know what this means on a tattoo. It was got in Amsterdam and is drug related and it is of a cross over 2 crescents. Thanks!
Sorry about my poor grammar..
The meaning behind the tattoo of the cross over 2 crescents has connotations relating to drugs.
If you could provide a picture of link to a similar tattoo, you might get a more accurate answer.

I’m designing my next tattoo and I need to find different symbols for trust, communication between lovers, integrity, perseverance, inner-strength, and happiness.
I’m looking for preferably universal symbols that many would recognize but am not limited to them. Please post a link to each symbol as well as telling me their origin, if you know it.
Check out the Celtic Claddagh. Stands for Loyalty, Friendship and Love. Or any sort of Celtic knot. most of them have meaning behind them that are easy to recognize and find. I myself have a variation of the Claddagh tattoo’d in the center of my back.

I was thinking of getting these kanji symbols tattooed on my back and was wondering if they were correct…
Here is the site you can find them:

well according to tribalshapes.com there is actually one less character but i got my tattoo for balance from the site and it’s slightly off but it looks better , everyone makes a big deal of it being correct . but if it just loosely means it and it looks better i’d go for that one.
how many asians are going to be seeing it and even if they do it’s not like they’re going to be offended.in my opinion people uses the literal kanji excuse cos they’re too afraid to get a tattoo. theres no point in getting the literal translation if it looks like crap get whatever is the best looking one

A small group of us are getting tattoos to represent our 20 plus years of friendship. Anyone know of any sites? We are looking at symbols, small picture and/or any in different languages.
If anyone knows of any ideas for a friendship or family tattoo, could you share?
something like two hands holding. Or an image of something dear to all of you, something that unifies your beliefs as a group. A symbol of unity like a small circle (made of all of your initials??) with an icon in the center?

I have a tattoo of a dragonfly on my wrist. It is cartoonish and simple and that’s what I dont like about it. My best friend suggested adding a chinese symbol into each of the wings and I really like that idea. What symbols should I put? There are 4 wings.
faith, love, hope, trust
or 4 things that mean the most to you
ex/ family, friends, music, ect

I want to create an original tattoo. I have an idea of merging certain symbols that mean something to me in order to do this.
Is this blasphemy?
Using symbols for inspiration was, at a minimum, going to be my plan.
I’m worried people may take offense if they felt a strong belief towards some of the symbols I may use.
I’m after some opinions.
Thanks
No.
It is misguided.

My fiance is a Marine and we are apart A LOT! For my next tattoo I am looking for a symbol to represent everything we’ve went through/are still going through. Something like a certain type of bird, flower, etc. if anyone has any ideas!
Not looking for anyone to pass judgements on the military or the fact that I’m getting a tattoo that has to do with a relationship – I know breakups happen.
I’m not sure if you’re into them but a pegasis represents strength and vitality. a turtle dove represents love…the horse represents honor…and a wolf represents loyalty. depending on what you wanna do with your ink you could always incorporate a few of these things…and overall the decision is yours what you want to do. good luck!

My boyfriend wants to get a really amazing collage of symbols that represent "king" for a tattoo. He wants to design it himself, but whether he will admit it or not, he needs help. haha. I need a few ideas of some symbols that could be used in a "king" tattoo. Thanks!
thank you everyone so far. And "SEXY MAMA"…you are pathetic. Obviously you are desperate for attention. Get a life. And take your drama elsewhere. K thanks.
A CROWN
BUT A KING SYMBOLIZES STRENGTH AND LOYALTY SO LOOK UP THINGS THAT GO WITH THOSE ALSO
